Sentinel 1 TOPS SLC co-registration using script S1_coreg_TOPS
Added by Peter Friedl about 9 years ago
Hello everybody,
I’m using the script S1_coreg_TOPS in order to calculate the co-registration lookup tables of my Sentinel 1 TOPS SLC`s. Since I have no license for the LAT programs I do neither provide a polygon area for the intensity matching refinement iterations nor a polygon area for the spectral diversity method. According to the user`s guide the resampling should then be done for the entire area.
So far so good: the co-registration quality file says that there have been done several iterations using intensity matching until the azimuth correction determined is below the desired threshold (see example below). However the results for the spectral diversity method show that there is no azimuth shift in the burst overlap regions to be corrected (see example below). Of course this can`t be the case if the spectral diversity method would have been run properly. The screen output also gives some error messages when coming to the spectral diversity method, indicating that I have no valid license for LAT. Until now I thought that not having the LAT license only prevents running the spectral diversity method on restricted areas. But it seems to me as if the spectral diversity method is not applicable without the LAT programs in general. Is this right? Does anybody have any suggestions to get around it?
Thanks’ for your help,
Peter
